Located just 1.5 hours from Arusha, this turquoise, crystal-clear spring is the perfect spot to relax, swim, and rejuvenate your body after a mountain hike or busy safari.

Surrounded by lush greenery and shaded by overhanging trees, Chemka offers warm, refreshing waters where you can swim, float, or jump in using the popular rope swings. Spend up to 3 hours enjoying this peaceful oasis at your own pace.

A BBQ lunch is available at a small additional cost, but we provide every guest with a FREE lunchbox — ensuring a comfortable and memorable day out.

Itinerary – Chemka Hot Springs Day Trip

9:00 AM – Pick-Up from Arusha

Your driver-guide picks you up from your hotel in Arusha.
Enjoy a scenic drive through local villages, open landscapes, and Maasai communities.

10:30 AM – Arrive at Chemka Hot Springs

Enter the natural oasis surrounded by tall trees and warm spring waters.
Your guide sets up your area and ensures you’re comfortable.

10:30 AM – 1:30 PM – Enjoy the Hot Springs (Up To 3 Hours)

Spend your time however you wish:

• Swimming in the clear turquoise water

• Relaxing under the shade of the trees

• Using the rope swing for fun jumps

• Sunbathing on the banks

• Taking photos of this scenic paradise

You will be provided with a FREE lunchbox, and drinks are available for purchase on-site.

1:30 PM – Drive Back to Arusha

After a relaxing time at the springs, begin your return journey.

3:00 PM – Drop-Off in Arusha
