A six-day safari allows you to explore the very best national parks in northern Tanzania, offering exceptional wildlife viewing and tremendous flexibility. This itinerary is easy to customize based on your interests, travel dates, and preferred pace.

From June through November, we often recommend spending two nights in Tarangire National Park to enjoy its rare species such as kudu and oryx, thriving lion populations, and the enormous elephant herds that gather around the Tarangire River during the dry season.

From December through May, travelers may prefer to spend three nights in the Serengeti to witness the incredible movements of the Great Migration, one of the world’s most remarkable wildlife spectacles.

You are welcome to contact us anytime for personalized recommendations tailored to your travel dates and specific interests.

During this safari, you will visit:

  • Lake Manyara National Park – A paradise for bird lovers with more than 400 species, including flamingos, pelicans, and many forest birds.

  • Tarangire National Park – A stunning landscape of baobab trees and acacia woodlands, home to zebras, giraffes, elephants, waterbuck, lions, and a wide range of wildlife.

  • Ngorongoro Crater – The world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, densely populated with wildlife including elephants, rhinos, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and numerous herbivores.

  • Serengeti National Park – Tanzania’s most famous and largest national park, known for its “endless plains,” big cats, and the Great Migration. Covering 14,763 square kilometers, the Serengeti features open plains, short-grass savannas, rocky kopjes, and seasonal lakes.

It hosts the Great Migration, where more than a million wildebeest, 200,000 zebras, and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelles move across the plains in search of fresh grazing. The ecosystem also supports abundant predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas.

Olduvai Gorge is one of the most important paleoanthropological sites in the world, where hominid footprints preserved in volcanic rock date back 3.6 million years.
The Ngorongoro area is also home to many authentic Maasai villages, where you can observe traditional dances, visit local homes, and support Maasai artisans through handmade jewelry purchases.
