Terms & Conditions – Superior Kilimanjaro and Safaris

Effective Date: 1st July 2022

By booking or using services with Superior Kilimanjaro and Safaris, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read carefully before making a reservation.


1. Booking and Payment

  1. All bookings must be confirmed with a deposit or full payment, as specified on our website or booking form.

  2. Payment can be made via the options listed on our website. Payment plans may be available for select treks and safaris.

  3. Bookings are only confirmed once payment is received and confirmed by our team.


2. Cancellation and Refunds

  1. Cancellation by the customer must be notified in writing.

  2. Refunds are subject to the following conditions:

    • Cancellation more than 60 days before the departure: Full refund minus administrative fees.

    • Cancellation 30–60 days before departure: 50% refund.

    • Cancellation less than 30 days before departure: No refund.

  3. Refunds for bank or transfer fees are not guaranteed.


3. Travel Insurance

  1. All clients are strongly advised to have valid travel insurance that covers:

    • High-altitude trekking (up to 5,895 meters)

    • Medical emergencies

    • Trip cancellations

  2. Proof of insurance may be required before departure.


4. Health and Fitness Requirements

  1. Kilimanjaro treks require moderate to good physical fitness.

  2. Customers must inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or disabilities prior to booking.

  3. We reserve the right to refuse participation for safety reasons.


5. Safety and Responsibility

  1. All clients must follow the instructions of our guides and staff at all times.

  2. Superior Kilimanjaro and Safaris is not liable for accidents or injuries resulting from non-compliance, negligence, or pre-existing medical conditions.

  3. Activities may be adjusted or canceled due to weather, safety concerns, or governmental restrictions.


6. Changes to Itineraries

  1. We strive to follow published itineraries, but changes may occur due to:

    • Weather conditions

    • Park regulations

    • Availability of accommodations or transport

  2. We will provide alternative arrangements of equal standard wherever possible.


7. Customer Conduct

  1. Clients are expected to behave respectfully towards guides, staff, wildlife, and local communities.

  2. We reserve the right to remove any individual from a trek or safari for disruptive or unsafe behavior, without refund.


8. Photography and Media

  1. By participating in our activities, you consent to photographs or videos being taken for promotional purposes unless you opt-out in writing.


9. Intellectual Property

  1. All content on our website, brochures, and promotional material is protected by copyright.

  2. Reproduction or commercial use without permission is prohibited.


10. Governing Law

  1. These terms are governed by the laws of Tanzania.

  2. Any disputes arising from bookings or services will be subject to the courts of Tanzania.
